The Old Stables Restaurant
Taking its name from the former stable block upon which it is built, The Old Stables restaurant at Allerton Manor Golf Club is well-established as a local, family-friendly eatery for residents and visitors of South Liverpool. Offering a seasonal menu featuring classic British dishes, our creative chefs use locally sourced ingredients from responsible and trusted suppliers. From a full English breakfast, traditional afternoon tea or a Sunday roast, there is something for everyone at The Old Stables. Dine inside our spacious restaurant or take a table outside, wherever you choose to sit we are sure you’ll dine comfortably with us. Our outdoor area is open all year round, in summer it’s the go to sun trap for a light-lunch after a round of golf, and in winter its covered seating and heaters make it the cosiest pit stop after a long walk to enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake.

Booking a Table
We always recommend reserving a table when eating at The Old Stables, so as not to be disappointed when we’re full to capacity. Use the booking form below to reserve your table today.
If the form doesn’t display the particular time you’re hoping for, that means we are fully-booked for that particular time of day. Likewise, if the option to have a heater or parasol with your table is not showing, that means we have none available at that time.
The booking widget will ask you for your credit or debit card details. This is a precautionary measure against no-shows and late cancellations (within 48 hours of your booked table). If you do not arrive for your booking or cancel without giving sufficient notice, your card will automatically be charged a no-show fee of £5.00 per person.
If you are requiring a reservation for more than 6 guests, please call the restaurant directly, who can advise on our booking procedures for larger tables.
For Afternoon Tea bookings, we require 24 hours notice. Afternoon tea menu is for pre-order only, we don’t not serve this daily.
Group Restaurant Bookings
We offer group restaurant bookings for up to 25 guests, perfect for those events worth celebrating with your closest family and friends, but you don’t quite need a private function space. We can host special birthday’s, baby showers and Christenings in our spacious restaurant, we would require you to pre-order your food choices in advance and pay a small deposit per person.
